Delete your Kharchy data

Last updated: 2026-08-23 Applies to: Kharchy for Android, iOS and web (iq.moneymanager.app)

Kharchy has no account and no server holding your records. Everything you enter lives on your own device, which means deleting it is something you do yourself, immediately, without asking anyone’s permission or waiting for a reply.

1. Erase everything in the app

Open Kharchy and go to More → Danger zone → Clear all data, then confirm.

That erases, on the device, right away:

It cannot be undone, and it does not need our involvement. If you want a copy first, take one from More → Backup & sync → Download full backup before you clear.

Uninstalling also works. Because there is no server copy, removing the app removes the data with it.

2. Backups you put in your own Google Drive

If you ever connected Google Drive, the backup files are in your Drive under your own account — we cannot see them and we cannot delete them for you. Remove them the way you would any other file in Drive, or use More → Backup & sync in the app to disconnect and manage them.

Disconnecting also revokes the app’s access token with Google, so nothing can read that folder afterwards.

3. Diagnostics and usage data

This is the only data that ever reaches a third party. Kharchy sends crash reports and anonymous usage events to Google Firebase, tied to a random per-install identifier — never to your name, and never containing anything you recorded.

To stop it: turn off More → Privacy & security → Usage analytics. Collection stops in the reporting services themselves, and the choice sticks.

To request deletion of what was already sent: email kharchy.support@gmail.com with the subject line Data deletion request. We will action it and confirm within 30 days. You do not need to prove anything or give a reason — but do send it from the device you want cleared if you can, since a random install identifier is all we have to go on and we may need to ask you for it.

Nothing in that data identifies you personally, so there is no account for us to close and nothing else for us to hand back.

4. What we keep

Nothing. There is no Kharchy account, no user database, and no server-side copy of your records to retain. After the steps above there is no data of yours left anywhere that we control.
